Sheila’s BackgroundSome say “it takes a village;” we say it takes a visionary! Chappaqua’s real estate visionary is our very own Sheila Siderow. She founded Siderow Kennedy Real Estate in 1994 because she believed too many home buyers and sellers were being lost in the “big chain” shuffle. A stickler for personal service and individual attention, Sheila’s turned Siderow Kennedy into one of Westchester’s most innovative real estate firms. In 1995, Sheila pioneered the concept of CyberSales™ - long before other Realtors offered virtual tours on the Web. She also created programs to help children adjust to a new move through our Child Moves program, and international executives settle in Westchester through our Global Relocation services. And Siderow Kennedy offers its customers concierge services and performance based commissions unmatched by her competitors. Sheila started out on Madison Avenue as the creative director of a mid-size ad agency, then turned to real estate after she and her husband settled in Chappaqua. She rose quickly in the ranks, becoming a branch manager then vice president of Houlihan Lawrence. When she realized there was a better way to do business, she founded Siderow Kennedy in 1994.
